Robot Liliput (1939)

This is the first robot toy believed to have been marketed as a child’s toy. Created by an unknown prewar Japanese manufacturer, Robot Lilliput stands 6 inches in height and features a key-wound mechanism that allows for stiff-legged walking and arm swinging.
